IT – Genium INET 3.0201 Project Update (86/13)

As previously announced in IT-Notice 65/13 , NASDAQ OMX Commodities SPAN-file will change to accommodate NOS markets. This IT-Notice outlines additional changes to the NASDAQ OMX Commodities SPAN-File.

Market practices for NOS Freight products are to have 4 decimals in traded prices and the SPAN file needs to be updated accordingly. In order to accommodate large prices with 4 decimals the length of the price field needs to be increased from 9 to 13 Characters

The following fields in the SPAN file will be changed to use 4 implied decimals instead of 2 decimals. Additionally, the width of the fields will be increased from 9 characters to 13 characters:   - Record type 02 : Closing   - Record type 02 : Reference price   - Record type 03 : Base price
