(Nasdaq: CAR ) is honoring three Budget licensees for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in recognition of their commitment to help accelerate growth in their respective countries over the last year. These recognitions were announced at the Company's annual EMEA Licensee Convention in Barcelona, where Budget Jordan was honored with the top award of EMEA Licensee of the Year. The other licensees recognized are:
- Budget Poland , honored for customer service excellence. Serving customers at eight international airports and at five metropolitan locations, Budget Poland consistently received high marks in customer satisfaction.
- Budget Romania , which reorganized their operations over the last year, helping the new management team reinvigorate the brand across the country. Budget Romania's achievements include: driving incremental revenue, increasing international outbound reservation volume and strengthening customer service. Budget Romania operates at four airports and four conveniently-located metropolitan facilities.
- Budget Turkey , which increased its focus on marketing and partnership development. These initiatives helped drive improvements for Budget in Turkey in both customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
