ATLANTA, Oct. 17, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This October, the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) encourages schools, businesses and community members to celebrate Crime Prevention Month. Since 1984, the NCPC has sponsored Crime Prevention Month to promote public safety through education and events that cultivate awareness and "Celebrate Safe Communities."
