Florida Congressman Patrick E. Murphy Visits GelTech Solutions' Headquarters
GelTech Solutions, Inc., creators of FireIce, a revolutionary water enhancing fire suppressant that has the potential to change current firefighting techniques, announces Congressman Patrick E. Murphy's visit to GelTech Solutions' headquarters in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Congressman Patrick E. Murphy represents Florida's 18th Congressional district, which includes Martin, St. Lucie, and northern Palm Beach counties. Congressman Murphy currently serves on the prestigious House Committee on Financial Services, where he sits on the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit as well as the Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy. Additionally, Congressman Murphy sits on the House Committee on Small Business, where he serves as Ranking Member of the Agriculture, Energy, and Trade Subcommittee.
During his recent visit to GelTech he reiterated the need to create an environment conducive to business growth; making sure the necessary resources to drive this growth are present. His positions on the Financial Services and Small Business Committees will enable him to address many of these issues head on. He recognizes and understands the challenges faced by small businesses, such as GelTech, specifically engaging government agencies at the proper levels to help bring more visibility to their work.
