LRAD Corporation Names E. Brian Harvey as Director

SAN DIEGO, CALIF., Oct. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LRAD Corporation (NASDAQ: LRAD), the world's leading provider of long range acoustic hailing devices (AHDs), today announced the appointment of E. Brian Harvey as Director of Investor Relations and Capital Markets. Mr. Harvey will oversee the Company's strategies for raising investor and public awareness, and corporate communications for LRAD Corporation.

Most recently, Mr. Harvey was the Vice President of Investor Relations and Capital Markets for MeetMe, Inc., the public market leader in social discovery. Prior to joining MeetMe in 2011, Mr. Harvey spent over twelve years working for a number Wall Street broker-dealers as both a Supervisory Analyst and an Equity Research Analyst. Mr. Harvey specialized in covering small capitalization technology companies as well as other industries, and as a result, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a strong Wall Street network to his new position.
