Heavy rain is expected across West Central Texas through tonight.
Mid and upper level moisture associated with tropical storm octave in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and rich Gulf moisture will interact with a stationary frontal boundary to produce widespread showers and thunderstorms across West Central Texas. The Heaviest rainfall is expected tonight but may persist into Monday morning as well. Additional widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected across the watch area with isolated higher totals.
Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Monday morning.

- A portion of West Central Texas, including the following areas, Brown, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett, Irion. Kimble, Mason, Mcculloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, Taylor and Tom Green.
- Through Monday morning.
- Widespread heavy rainfall of 1 to 3 inches, with isolated higher amounts.
- Urban street flooding will be primary concern due to poor drainage and extreme runoff. Normally dry creeks and streams will catch excess runoff and may flood low lying roadways.
