Power Efficiency Corporation is working with various local utility companies in a combined effort to encourage utility customers (commercial and industrial operations) to reduce energy consumption on electric motor systems. Utility customers can participate in several ways. Each utility offers unique programs for various electric motor applications and their customers are rewarded according to program qualifications and the result of energy savings from the Power Efficiency Motor Efficiency Controller.
Electric motors consume roughly a quarter of all electricity in the United States and over 60% of all electricity used by the commercial, industrial, and manufacturing sectors of our economy.
