About Mission Belt
A few years ago, a great friend of ours in Panama named Luis Melendez was working a very strenuous job on the docks and not getting ahead. On top of that, he hurt himself and the company he was working for gave him his walking papers. We brainstormed with him for a couple weeks about what kind of business he would want to start. We first looked at pig farming and backed away from that after some volatility in the pork prices. Next we thought about getting a corn grinder to make feed for livestock. Finally we noticed that there were really long lines for the buses into Panama City in the very community that Luis and his wife were living. So Luis put together a little business plan and we started to look for a bus. We finally found a bus on eBay in Florida that would suit our purposes in Panama.
So we shipped the bus from Panama City, Florida to Panama City, Panama. Luis got the bus and handled all the documentation to import. Once he got the bus cleaned up and registered with all the right departments, he was picking up commuters for a $1.25 each way from his town to the big city. One bus grew to three and we really realized that small loans to ambitious, hard working people can really pay off in the long run. That's when we got sold on the idea of micro lending.
When we decided to update the belt and make the no-holes Mission Belt®, we knew we wanted to give something back with every belt. Now a DOLLAR from every belt goes towards helping people in their fight against hunger and poverty. We like to think of it as corporate responsibility to give something back to hard working individuals that simply need a hand up. Often times the DOLLAR that we pass on represents 20% or more of our profit and we are a for profit business, not a charity.

Q: When will my order ship?
A: Please allow up to 5 days for handling. Once your order ships, it will arrive according to the option you selected at checkout. For domestic orders, we offer Next Day Air service via UPS, USPS Priority (2-3 days) or our standard USPS First Class shipping (3-7 days).
Q: Do you have any larger sizes?
A: For most of our colors except Red and Blue, we offer our "Custom" size. You will receive a leather that will fit up to a 56" waist, and then you can follow this tutorial - Resizing your Mission Belt - to cut it down to the perfect size for you.
Q: Help! I'm stuck in my belt and can't get out. What do I do?
A: Don't panic. Remain calm and call for help. Treat for shock. Then watch our quick video tutorial: How To Operate Your Mission Belt.
Q: I lost weight/ordered one too large/am giving this to my 4 year old. How can I resize my belt?

Q: Since your Shark Tank episode aired, it seems copycats are popping up all over the place. What's up with that?
A: As Charles Colton once said, "Imitation is the sincerest of flattery." Don't be fooled by imitators. There's only one Mission Belt.
Q: Is The Mission Belt made of real leather?
A: Yes! Not only is it real leather, it is really nice leather. Most leather is coarse and rough but ours is smooth and sturdy. We just choose to price them so everyone can afford the best.
Q: What size should I buy?
A: Same as your pants size. If you’re not sure of your pants size, ask your mom. Mom always knows! If you haven't got a mom you have our condolences. At least you can have a really cool belt.
Q: Is there anything stopping me from buying all the colors?
A: Uh, yeah—we only make one white belt for every fifty black and brown belts. They are like super scarce and a hassle to make. How many totally white cows do you know?
Q: The price seems pretty cheap considering the quality of the belts, the style, and taking into consideration your R&D costs. What’s the catch?
A: We price the belts the same as inferior belts knowing that you won't be able to resist buying one, then when you're hooked, we will be able to charge whatever we want for them in the future. We are very, very patient.
Q: Is The Mission Belt a good gift?
A: No… It's an awesome gift.
Q: How long will a Mission Belt last?
A: A long, long, long, long time. Let's just say that when you need to buy another Mission Belt, people will be using telepathy to communicate and Bill & Ted will be ruling the galaxy. Excellent!
Q: What about girls? Can girls buy/wear Mission Belts?
A: After extensive research and development in our mountaintop laboratories in Gstaad, we've discovered that The Mission Belt is totally unisex. Works and looks great on all females.
Q: Mission Belts sound so cool but what about the downside? What's the disadvantage of wearing a Mission Belt?
A: Delusions of grandeur. You will probably still have to keep your day job and pay taxes, even though you won’t feel like it. (Only two of our customers no longer have to do those things since starting to wear the belt. These results are NOT guaranteed.)
Q: Is The Mission Belt actually a super-mega international corporation or conglomerate bent on world domination?
A: No.
Q: What do I do if my dad, brother, friend, roommate, cousin, grandfather, or quirky neighbor borrows my belt and won't give it back?
A: Your first mistake was to take it off. If you are in a situation that requires you to remove your Mission Belt for an extended time period, like showering, we suggest you install a practical wall safe or a hidden panel in your home, residence, or sojourn. However, there is no use crying over spilled milk. Let them have it. They’re only $40 and they’re probably in stock right now.
Q: Is 35 mm and 40 mm the size of the buckle or the belt?
A: The buckle. The belt is slightly under the size of the buckle.
Q: What is your return policy?
