GovDelivery to Reschedule Annual Federal Governmen

WASHINGTON, Oct. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GovDelivery, leading provider of public sector cloud-based communication solutions, announced today that it will reschedule its annual Federal Government Digital Communications event as a result of the current government shutdown.  Now scheduled for December 9, 2013, the event will provide a platform for communicators and technologists from across the federal government to exchange best practices in leadership development, new technologies, and digital communications. The free event, " Federal Digital Communications Event: The Power of the Message ," will be hosted by GovDelivery and the Federal Consulting Group (FCG), an activity in the U.S. Department of the Interior. This conference was originally scheduled for October 15, 2013. The conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Washington D.C. and bring together more than 400 government employees and contractors to learn and discuss communication strategies and tactics that agencies can employ to drive mission results.
