Willis Webinar to Help Public Companies Manage Cyb

NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH ), the global risk advisor, insurance and reinsurance broker, announced today an educational webinar to help public companies manage cyber risk within the rapidly evolving cyber regulatory environment.

The presentation and panel discussion will feature the results of the recently published Willis Fortune 1000 Cyber Disclosure Report , the second in a series of reports examining U.S. public companies filings in response to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission guidance asking U.S. listed firms to provide extensive disclosures on their cyber exposures. Willis experts will focus on Directors & Officers Liability associated with cyber risk.

Additional discussion will examine the efforts that the U.S. Government is taking to promote best practices for information security, especially when connected to critical infrastructure. Willis specialists will be joined by cyber security experts and securities law attorneys.
