WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - The U.S. government will release its revised report on how fast the economy grew in the second quarter at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch project that gross domestic product rose 1.7% in the second quarter, up slightly from the government's original estimate of 1.5%. The Commerce Department, which issues the report, will release a third and final calculation of second-quarter GDP in several weeks.
