JDL Technologies Donates Grand Prize to PAHCOM Sch

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Oct. 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Health information technology is changing rapidly, and healthcare practices are challenged to keep up with the latest innovations while trying to provide medical care and manage their business. This is especially true of smaller and solo healthcare practices.

The PAHCOM Scholarship Fund , operated by the Professional Association of Health Care Office Administrators, enables managers of medical offices and healthcare practices who would not be able to do so otherwise to obtain continuing education, specific training and certification at the annual PAHCOM Conference.

The purpose of the PAHCOM Scholarship Fund is to assist members who do not have the financial means to pursue continued education in medical management. The PAHCOM Scholarship Fund is supported by donations from the member community, particularly vendor members, and a raffle at the annual PAHCOM Conference raises substantial funds. All proceeds from the raffle go directly to the PAHCOM Scholarship Fund.

JDL Technologies is pleased to donate this year's grand prize, an iPad Retina, for the PAHCOM Scholarship Fund. The grand prize, as well as other prizes, will be raffled off during the 25 ^th Annual PAHCOM Conference October 21-24, 2013, in Clearwater Beach, Fla.

PAHCOM was formed in Florida in 1988 to support solo physician and small group physician practice managers. Today, they are a national network of thousands of managers of medical offices and healthcare practices.

PAHCOM currently offers training and certification for two credentials: Certified Medical Manager (CMM) and HIT Certified Manager (HITCM-PP).
