"The National Association of Water Companies through its partnerships, leadership in regulatory matters and advocacy efforts, continues to make great strides in educating the public about the important role reliable and affordable water service play in maintaining public health and safety as well as economic stability and growth. I am honored to work closely with this passionate group of national water leaders from the investor-owned and contract operations sector and look forward to building our network and working collaboratively to address the challenges facing the water industry," said Doll.

NAWC's mission is to promote the value of the private sector as the provider of quality, sustainable, water services and innovative solutions. The range of NAWC's members' business includes ownership of regulated drinking water and wastewater utilities and the many forms of public-private partnerships and management contract arrangements. NAWC members are in every region of the country and range in size from large companies owning and/or operating many hundreds of utilities in multiple states to individual utilities with only a few hundred customers.

"We are proud to welcome Dennis Doll as the incoming NAWC president," said Michael Deane, executive director, NAWC. "Dennis's leadership along with our engaged board will help to continue to drive our efforts to shape the future of water management," added Deane.

Doll, a Certified Public Accountant, has more than 25 years of experience in both regulated and non-regulated utility management with a diverse financial management background related to water and wastewater utilities, contract operations and capital management. He has served as President and CEO of Middlesex Water since January 2006. Under Doll's leadership the Company has built upon its traditional core business of providing regulated water service by adding new contract operations, acquisitions, turnkey renewable energy services and most recently, military base water system privatization to its suite of service offerings.

In addition to his role with NAWC, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Water Research Foundation, a member of the Advisory Committee of the New Jersey Climate Adaptation Alliance and a member of the Research Advisory Committee of the National Regulatory Research Institute. Doll also serves as a Director and member of the executive committees of the New Jersey Utilities Association and Raritan Bay Medical Center in New Jersey.
