The Board of Geveko has decided to implement a functional line organization which enters into force today and which supports a comprehensive profitability program, “Force 50” of at least SKr 50 million annually with effect from 2014. The program is expected to result in one-off costs of approximately SKr 20-25 million. The current organization is replaced by a line organization with clear allocation of responsibility and authority. “New organization model and implementation of a profitability program is part of the strategy to reduce the cost structure of the company, achieve increased operational efficiency, improved profitability and cash flow” says CEO Göran Eklund.
