The rigorous process is an accurate and thorough analysis of an organization's current HIPAA compliance status. Upon completion, Health Care Management produced a gap analysis and recommendation document that included industry best practices for HIPAA compliance. This document took into account one hundred twenty eight separate security controls stipulated by HIPAA under the GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) sections of the law. As a result, Health Care Management found that US Signal's security environment aligned completely with the HIPAA Privacy and Security model and accredited US Signal as a HIPAA compliant organization.
