The broad use of cash for a company is to:
1. increase assets
2. decrease liabilities
3. return cash to shareholders (dividends or share buybacks)
We will have to wait for the quarterly to understand what has happened over the past quarter with respect to revenues. That should be forthcoming within 2-3 weeks.
We have a clearer understanding of what's happening with respect to liabilities (still have potentially up to $250k ($50k from $350-400k writeoff and $200k from further possibles within the next few months) that can be written off). Certainly directional trend, if not the absolute.
We have yet to see movement this year on returning cash to shareholders. I'll note that BCAP is currently trading below its net assets at $0.0002 and possibly at $0.0003 depending on how that final $250k is treated.
