The move to October will allow the network to add more programming
VU Television which was due to kick off September 23rd, will now launch October 29th 2013, in order to add more programs to its roster.
In order to give viewers a more substantial programing schedule, VU Television will push back its launch date to October 29th 2013. The move is due to a recent content acquisitions which will allow the network to launch with more programming than originally planned.
Rather than flip the switch on the VU Television network September 23rd as initially planned, the network is now slated October 29th . Were VU to launch as planned, it would have 8 episodic TV series in its rotation schedule. The move will allow the VU to come out of the gate with an additional 2000+ hours of programing from a recent content acquisition.
The additional 2000+ hours of programming crosses several genres including Lifestyle, Travel & Destinations, Health & Wellbeing, Biographies (celebrity, sports, world leaders), Entertainment, Animals & Kids, History, Environment & Space, Science & Technology, Movies, Fillers & Clips.
The company will use the additional time to format the new shows and prepare them for broadcast on the network.
