Slow board so will pass on a Minn. Finlander joke from my 86 yr old uncle:
Toyvo and Eno are out deer hunting, even though both are getting on in years and their eyesight isn't what it use to be.
Toyvo spots a target and gets off a fast shot. The target goes down and when he rushes up to see how big it is, he is shocked to see he shot his good friend Eno.
He is beside himself, holding his head in his hands and wondering what he should do.
Finally he runs back and gets the truck and takes him to the Grand Rapids Hospital.
They wheel Eno right into the emergency room and Toyvo is pacing back and forth in the waiting room, praying that they will be able to miraculously save his good friend.
A doctor finally comes out of the emergency room, walks up to Toyvo, places his arm on his shoulder, and tells him there was nothing they could do, his good friend Eno was dead.
Toyvo, looking for some sort of solace, says to the Doctor "Is there anything I could have done that would have prevented him from dying?"
The Doctor replied "Well, it would have helped if you hadn't field dressed him."
Another Finlander joke:
Toyvo and his love, Fria, are dining at a fine restaurant.
Fria gets a piece of meat stuck in her throat and turns to Toyvo gasping, pointing to her throat, eyes wide and fearful.
Toyvo sees her predicament and says "Don't worry, Fria, I know just what to do."
He then proceeds to run around the table, lifts her out of her chair, starts lifting up her dress, and seemingly trying to kiss her ass.
Fria is choking and now terribly mortified, flailing at Toyvo to stop!
This goes on for a little while and in her anger and tussle with Toyvo the meat lodged in her throat finally pops out.
Fria lays Toyvo out with a swift clout to the head and screams at him "What do you think you are doing?"
Toyvo, now angry at being walloped, yelled back "What do you think I was doing, I was trying to save your life with the Heinie Lick maneuver!!"
Tell these with a Finlander accent and they are as good as Beaudreaux/Thibedoux jokes with a Cajun accent or Texas Aggie jokes with a Texas drawl accent. Any joke with an accent seems to crack me up.
