GREENSBORO, N.C., Oct. 4, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Prophecy Healthcare , Inc. specializing in online healthcare competency testing announced that Andra Felton, RN, BSN has been named Clinical Education Specialist. Felton will provide front-line clinical oversight for client customization projects , offer assistance with remediation opportunities, and contribute to clinical education content for the organization.

As Clinical Education Specialist, Felton brings over 11 years of clinical experience to the Prophecy team. A graduate of Arkansas State University, she continues to reside in Arkansas where she enjoyed working as a Registered Nurse for 11 years. Her direct patient care experience consists of emergency room, post anesthesia care, and most extensively in the perioperative setting. Most recently Felton was the coordinator of a joint replacement program, in a large hospital setting, personally seeing 1,200 patients annually to provide patient education and client support ensuring a seamless transition from surgery to the home setting. Her diverse clinical background gives Felton an understanding of the unique set of job duties and responsibilities required of each specialty within a facility. This establishes the critical foundation for developing customized content for healthcare specialty assessments .
