** DLHC AWARDED SEVEN DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS CONSOLIDATED MAIL OUTPATIENT PHARMACY (CMOP) LOGISTICS CONTRACTS

DLHC recently reported that it has been awarded seven task orders to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) logistics services.

The maximum value of the award for the expected five year term, comprised of a base year and four one year options, is estimated at $133 million . Performance is anticipated to commence on November 1, 2013.

Under these task orders, DLHC will provide medical logistics services to the VA`s CMOP facilities, including packaging, handling and storage services.

The CMOP program provides high volume automated mail order prescriptions to veterans using the VistA (Veterans Health Information System and Technology Architecture) system to support electronic health record requirements in compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other VA data security standards.

** DLHC Wins Two U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency's (USAMMA) Professional & Administrative Support Services Contract

DLHC said on September 12, 2013, that it is part of a team which was awarded an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide lifecycle management, sustainment and modernization, training exercises, and contingency operations services to the medical force.

Programs include the acquisition, storage, distribution and transfer of prepositioned stocks located ashore and afloat, as well as medical chemical defense packages and short shelf life pharmaceuticals. DLHC expects to provide these services for up to a five-year period as a subcontractor on this contract.
