I understand those filings are out of the company's control. However, they are required by law and so to provide investors insight into what is going on with companies they are invested in. So, I can't agree that it is a non issue. However, given that some of the companies are not known for having squeaky clean records or investor concern at the top of their list of things to consider, I suppose following the letter of the law is not their primary concern. So, point taken.
