$GRNE ~ GRNE's 2nd Quarter Form 10Q Filing Shows Income From Operations on Increased Revenues
SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - Oct 1, 2013) - Green Endeavors, Inc. (OTCQB: GRNE), a majority owned subsidiary of Nexia Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: NXHD), has filed its Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2013 with the SEC which brings GRNE to current status with all its filings.
The 2013 second quarter report shows improvements in the operations of GRNE over the comparable periods in 2012. During the three and six month periods ending June 30, 2013 GRNE's net sales were $914,484 and $1,768,797 respectively compared to $758,645 and $1,492,669 for the comparable periods in 2012. Net sales increased by $155,839 or 21% for three months ended June 30, 2013 and $276,128 or 18% for the six months ended June 30, 2013 over the comparable periods in 2012.
Income from operations for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013 were $45,100 and $41,826 respectively compared to losses of $21,125 and $100,943 for the comparable periods in 2012. Net losses decreased for the three and six months ended June 30, 2013 to $19,080 and $113,008 respectively compared to $78,098 and $387,266 for the comparable periods in 2012, an improvement of over 300% for each period.
