Parse Biosciences Introduces Evercode Kits for Small Samples

Parse Biosciences Introduces Evercode Kits for Small Samples

Introduction of Evercode Low Input Fixation Kits

Parse Biosciences has made a significant stride in the realm of single-cell sequencing with the launch of its Evercode™ Low Input Fixation kits. These innovative kits cater specifically to researchers who may have limited numbers of starting cells or nuclei, making single-cell sequencing much more accessible.

Addressing Challenges in Single Cell Sequencing

Traditionally, fixation technologies required researchers to begin their experiments with a substantial number of cells—typically around 50,000. This requirement posed a challenge for many in the scientific community, particularly those dealing with rare biological samples or minimal cell populations. With the launch of these new low input fixation kits, researchers can successfully initiate their studies with as few as 10,000 cells or nuclei, opening up new possibilities.

The Flexibility for Diverse Research Applications

These advanced kits provide researchers with enhanced flexibility, accommodating various experimental conditions. Now, customers can fix up to 96 samples at the same time using a plate format. This capability is especially crucial for applications that involve high-throughput drug screening and profiling patient samples from extensive cohorts.

The Vision Behind the Innovation

Charlie Roco, PhD, who is the chief technology officer and co-founder of Parse Biosciences, stated that the development of the Evercode Low Input Fixation kits stems directly from customer feedback. He emphasized that these kits represent a significant step towards improving access and flexibility for the research community when conducting single-cell studies.

Availability of Evercode Low Input Fixation Kits

The new fixation kits are readily available for shipment immediately. Moreover, the Parse team will present further details about these kits at the upcoming conference, including a chance to engage with the team in Booth #703 throughout the event.
