Derek Benner: Chief Mission Officer
Derek Benner has transitioned from his role on the Board of Directors to take on the critical position of Chief Mission Officer. With a distinguished 30-year career in federal law enforcement, he is now tasked with overseeing the Mission Operations and Survivor Care teams. Benner previously led Homeland Security Investigations, managing a vast network of law enforcement personnel across the country and internationally.
"I am eager to leverage my experience in law enforcement to further OUR RESCUE's mission," Benner stated. He underscored the necessity of strong partnerships to foster global collaborations aimed at enhancing the organization’s effectiveness and outreach.
Mitch Abrahamsen: Chief of Mission Support
