Morocco Strategic Minerals Kicks Off Significant Drilling Venture

Morocco Strategic Minerals Commences Drilling on Timarighine Property

MONTRÉAL — Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation (TSXV: MCC) is thrilled to announce the start of its inaugural drilling program on the Timarighine property. This exciting phase follows the initial exploration efforts that confirmed the presence of high-grade copper mineralization.

Insights from Initial Exploration

The first phase at Timarighine involved deepening trenches, uncovering new exposure areas, conducting geophysical surveys, along with systematic channel and grab sampling. These initial steps revealed significant high-grade sulphide mineralization at shallow depths of 8 to 10 meters, previously obscured by surface weathering. Channel and grab samples demonstrated impressive copper grades reaching up to 16.16% Cu, with occurrences of native copper and occasional silver values exceeding 20 g/t Ag.

Further analysis indicated the presence of a complex dyke stockwork system, highlighting a substantial near-surface polymetallic system. These findings significantly bolster the Corporation's strategy for the forthcoming drill campaign, which is meticulously targeted based on the geological data collected during the exploration phase.

Details of the Planned Drilling Program

The upcoming drilling initiative at Timarighine will feature approximately 1,300 meters of diamond drilling and an additional 400 meters of reverse circulation drilling. This two-pronged approach is strategically designed to explore the primary mineralized structures and the surrounding stockwork zones more systematically.

Diamond drill holes will focus on extending the down-dip and along-strike projections of the identified high-grade sulphide veins. The objective is to validate the mineralization candidates deeper underground while eight shallow reverse circulation holes, each extending 50 meters, will investigate the broader mineralized envelope. This includes an area where geophysical indicators suggest the potential for a disseminated or stockwork-style copper system. The overall approach seeks to optimize exploration effectiveness and reduce costs significantly.

Significance of the Timarighine Property

The Timarighine copper prospect is strategically located in a region known for high-grade copper occurrences. The property spans about 64 km² and comprises four contiguous exploration permits. Situated in the Tazzarine rural commune, it lies along the Jbel Saghro's southern slopes, an area famous for its mineral deposits. Two major parallel vein structures, along with extensive alteration zones, contribute to Timarighine’s appeal as a prime copper exploration site.

The discovery, featuring lengths of approximately 650 meters and 300 meters within the mineralized veins, offers promising indicators of substantial primary sulfide mineralization potential at depth. Overall, Timarighine’s geological framework solidifies its standing as a remarkable target for future exploration and development.
