To further enhance long-term stability and promote vegetation growth, crews created designed diversion terrace bench ditches and installed riprap down drains, efficiently managing water flow and mitigating erosion. This approach demonstrates a forward-thinking strategy for reclamation.
Seed mixtures, specifically approved for seasonal use, were utilized to seed, fertilize, and mulch the reclaimed areas. A dedicated six-month erosion control phase followed, during which teams repaired diversions, addressed rills and gullies, and reseeded affected zones as necessary.
