Recent geological efforts have uncovered a variety of strong copper anomalies, particularly highlighted by the presence of:
- 7 copper anomalies above the 99.5th percentile, showcasing significant potential.
- 8 additional anomalies exceeding the 97th percentile, indicating consistent mineralization throughout the surveyed area.
Outcrop Discoveries and Anomalous Values
The efforts also led to the identification of various copper-gold-molybdenum-silver occurrences on outcrops. Grab samples collected have demonstrated promising values, including:
- 0.32% Cu, 0.35 g/t Au, and 13.8 g/t Ag from sample L880271.
- 0.12% Cu, 0.1 g/t Au, and 7.1 g/t Ag from sample L880270.
- 0.12% Cu, 0.06 g/t Au, with 2.05 g/t Ag and 0.39% Mo from sample L880272.
These results reflect promising mineralization, yet they appear insufficient to fully account for the extensive copper anomalies identified in the lake-bottom sediment surveys. As a result, the indications of a Cu-Au-Mo-Ag system warrant further exploration and mapping.

In light of these findings, Midland has planned additional prospecting and geological mapping in 2025 to expand upon these insights. The project is nestled within the Opatica geological Subprovince, particularly in the Theodat Complex, which is known for its tonalitic gneisses. This geological formation has vast unexplored areas that Midland aims to delve into further.
