Field Applications Engineer
Michaela Navarro joins McCann in the role of Field Applications Engineer. With a vibrant background in theater, she has successfully transitioned her talents into the corporate audiovisual field. Having worked as a lighting programmer and designer, Michaela boasts an impressive experience that includes high-profile events for esteemed clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, NAPA Auto Parts, and Deloitte.
In her three years within the ProAV industry, Michaela has broadened her skill set to include media server programming and 3D animation. Her contributions to McCann's experiential AV division, known as McCannX, highlight her commitment to innovation and quality. Currently, she is expanding her expertise in unified communications projects, aiming to develop impactful experiential solutions for clients.

Executive Project Manager
Rick Nelson has also joined McCann Systems as an Executive Project Manager, bringing with him over three decades of industry experience in control systems, show control automation, and live event production. Based in New Jersey, Rick possesses dual Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, alongside a minor in Philosophy from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Throughout his career, Rick's notable achievements include extensive work with Disney Cruise Line, where he significantly contributed to the development of cutting-edge entertainment systems for initiatives like the revamped Disney 'Magic' and 'Marvel's Avengers Academy.' He has a track record of overseeing large-scale projects in various domains, having successfully managed ventures such as The Summit at One Vanderbilt, the Friends Experience in NYC, Legoland in Goshen, NY, and the historically significant Ellis Island site.
