The company, majority-owned by Aker Horizons ASA, has successfully divested its 675 megawatt (MW) portfolio of wind and solar assets currently under development in Colombia. This divestment marks Mainstream's exit from the Colombian market.
Details of the Divestment
The portfolio includes an impressive array of renewable projects that Mainstream has diligently developed since 2019. It features three solar initiatives: the 100 MW Andromeda solar farm, the 175 MW Aries solar farm, and the 100 MW Pollux solar farm. Accompanying these are two substantial wind projects: the 150 MW Neptuno and the 150 MW Sirius wind farms.
