Mary Carey started her business career with Applied Data Research, a software company out of Princeton New Jersey. She then held a number of positions at Datatec Systems, Inc. a New Jersey based publicly traded technology Deployment Company that she and her business partner founded. Working as a team, they acquired a floundering $500,000 revenue business, and grew it to $94 million until leaving in 1999.
As VP of Operations, Mary was responsible for the execution of their technology services deploying hundreds of installers throughout the US. She went on to create a new division called Engineering Services, support services for technicians. Her last position there was Vice President of Marketing.
Mary was then employed by Stronghold Technologies as VP of Operations. after which she freelanced on a number of creative projects from design to music performance. Recently, she was employed by Chris Carey Advisors, working with clients to improve business performance to become more profitable.
In her spare time Mary is a CASA Advocate for Foster Children, in the Brooklyn Family Court System. She lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her husband Chris and enjoys having her children and grandchildren close by.
