if I was short and short lots and concerned that this will happen as the longs and MSJ have indicated, I as a short would be buying all I could, and be happy as heck to pay whatever the price is now to get out, thing is, if there are lots of NSS as people have posted, they can't possibly cover and buy the shares back,
what I am looking for us to see is massive volume, I mean MASSIVE! while still SRGE, the market makers and shorts will know before us what is coming and people, when we see big bites at the ask and the price and volume rising, we will know we have a game on
heck, they would pay $1 now rather than $2.50 later,
I guess they can pay me now or pay me later!
