I do find the "people just wont invest" to be overblown. When big projects are shelved the goverment is a typical scapegoat, even if it isnt fully warranted. Granted theres only so much an entity can spend, but if a project/area can make money eventually someone will embrace it....by blaming taxes and such it sets the stage for the next round.
Governments (people within a nation) shouldnt be stuck giving away the farm, essentially extorted with threats of going elsewhere if business arent given the most favorable terms. Thats why I love this royalty number. Its not too high to destroy our insane profit margins, and it will provide tens/hundreds of millions anually....thats HUGE money for anyone but Mexico especially. We will hopefully be able to rest easy knowing we are going to indirectly/directly provide thousands of families with livelihoods on top of our own....fingers, legs, arms, genitalia, eyes, crossed.
