I would be piling in bigtime right now except that I have to reserve cash for legal fees, not to mention demolition of all that was done to my house (I use the term "done to" in the pejorative sense), and rebuilding/repairing. Sucks. It will probably take a year or two to try to collect anything back from the incompetent contractor who wrecked my house.

I asked the city building inspector to take a look at the situation. You know it's bad when he  looks at something, and makes a sound something like "UNNNGGGHHH!"
