Cole hints at change in schedule 1 should be next: “Our memorandum is really focused on what the federal enforcement will be of the Controlled Substances Act. There are, obviously, other issues that spin off of that, that do need to be dealt with, and I think those are the kinds of things that the Senate and the House can debate and determine if there’s an appropriate policy change to be made.”
