AT&T, Ericsson, France Telecom, Panasonic, Philips, Samsung, Siemens, Sony, and Telecom Italia have announced the founding of the Open IPTV Forum, an industry consortium that will work to define an interoperable end-to-end specification for the delivery of IPTV services.
