I wouldn't be surprised if potential big pharm companies are involved. Manipulate to force bankruptcy, try to get assets when auctioned off. The drug industry have many games under their hat to secure their control over the medical cure/treatment arena. Not to mention political ties. Oil industry is the same way with vehicles that could get over 100 mpg in the 80s with a new designed carborator ...big cars. Same with many successful electric cars. They buy the patent and lock the plans up for ever.
