You can see why they cant use the port conveyor system since bulk cargo is stored at far end of dock from the loading berth-jumper conveyor would block access to bulk ore,and they havent dredged deep enough on that end for deep draft ships and they cant unless they widen the dock there because of the slope needed for the sea wall-- in 2008 they planned on a 2nd loading berth with I think loading cranes

bulk cargo takes 2nd class citizen status there while the port plans on a new bulk cargo terminal N of Ensenada

Navial of course has been planning on its own ship loading station near Erendira for years and now that they have a producing mine in CWRN they may have to do something about it,though I'm sure they are busy w issues typical of transitions
