just a thought that might have already been given is that if the company goes under with phantom short stocks how would they be able to take them to court seeing that they did not have the funds to keep company going.  They the crooks win they got much money shorting company stock, company cease to exist no money and no evidence to convict in court. ding ding ding we have a winner the damn crooks.
