My first tussle with paid bashers was when I was investing in Iomega when it was a pink sheet stock, trading around 25 cents. It took a couple of years, but they became one of the most successful NYSE-listed stocks in history, eventually bought out by Lenovo & EMC. Oh and their stock price went up tens of thousands of percentage points from less than a dime to over $100.
