I thought I would provide an update before the long hot weekend. We have been hitting a 100 each day for the last week. The air is really Smokey from the fires in Cle Elum. It is a sad deal for all those people up there that have lost, homes, businesses and animals. With the wet cool spring it has provided enormous fuel for the fires to literally explode.
We are looking for a new boat salesman. I interviewed a gentlemen this am over the phone and expect a meeting with him in the next week. We want find someone well grounded with security and sales experience. Personally, I want to find a non smoker and someone without substance abuse issues and team player.
We continue to look at way to implement new construction methods to lighten the boat. Over the last 18 months I have had conversations with a gentlemen with a business that uses composite materials. It was my desire to find some sort of synergy between the products so we could share R and D space and production capacity. This was one of the weak areas in the original design and made the GD12 heavy. Every pound of weight costs fuel to move it and lost payload. With fuel at 3.20-4.00 a gallon, this is huge savings potential .
I will only comment on the on going litigation briefly. I fully intent to do what I can to protect the interest of the shareholders, myself and get to the truth out there. The truth, lately, seems to be very evasive on other people’s parts or simply they have no desire to engage in it. I will be ramping up full steam on discovery over the next 3 months and it will take me to Florida, Louisiana and Pennsylvania. I expect the trip into Mexico sometime in October that is business related. To stop the flow of miss-information, I will be putting up wither a link or a website that you can go to and carefully read the filings, discovery production and other “interesting” tidbits.
OK, that is all I am going to say about it.
I am looking forward to the next month, I expect it to be busy around here and hopefully I can get this salesman onboard and hit the ground running, We have allot of terrific leads and someone with real security background and a polished personality should be able to make some real headway with the leads .
