I still have the can he gave me: "Unguento Veterinario de la Tia" which contains extract of Allium Sativum and extract of Aloe vera. It was one of the more painful things I have felt. An impact to the front of the toenail like that will shear the entire nailbed at the same time.  All part of playing the sport!  No pain no gain!  I've lost my big toenails about 5 times each foot, only once did I lose both at the same instance.
