So... some readers might infer that there are currently NO consummated deals, or they would have been PR'ed. 

Its understandable that any deals in the works would not be disclosed... but consummated deals certainly could be disclosed, as say the deals to acquire some of the shows already PR'ed.  Again, what's the difference between disclosing a consummated deal today over say next week or next month.  The bashers will surely attack the deal no matter the timing of the disclosure.
