Your broker should offer real time quotes and L2 screen for a cost of course but it will show you the market makers and the shares they have to sell at each price. Also you will see wether each is a buy or a sell and the amounts for each with a time stamp. Very helpful. I can't afford it right now so it makes it difficult to see the entire picture.
