I used POET as an abbreviation of the company' name.
POET Technologies Inc. trades as PTK on the TSX.V Toronto Stock Exchange Venture, and therefore you need to add a .V to the symbol, like PTK.V or it could be V.PTK. In case you want to this stock on the OTCQX your symbol becomes POETF .
