I think the major reason they are so successful at this is because of the # trades SKTO gets. If SKTO was getting 250+ trades per day then they would have to work much harder to get the price down.
To be successfull at this you would need 2 or more brokers - most likely offshore that use different MM's. Remember the comments earlier about someone looking for 100 mil shares from alpine? And they were offering to pay a premium for it. So let's assume this group of bid whackers has $1.5 million to play with. They in theory could be making money all the time if they have a day trading account like I do. They drop the price down low and buy a ton of shares, then they let it go up a little and sell at a profit say on news then they bid whack it down again and buy a ton more shares and repeat the cycle over and over.
