Sorry artst and cool I don't agree yet. Lets first see the boundaries  of this field. The permits for the stockton # 3 and # 4 are clear offsets and will be drilled to vertical depth only.Once   this "new field" is drilled out and formation declines, then drill back in to the field horizontally. I do agree it would be a nice well. Then you have to consider secondary recovery methods . Water flooding could be a  choice.
