Regen paid the money to OHSU last year. There would have been no way for Koos to know that the filing associated with ensuring that the status remains up-to-date had not been completed, as promised, by OHSU. It took the USPO more than five months to even update in the system. Again, there was no way for Koos to have known.
When the issue was discovered, Regen were informed immediately and the matter was addressed internally immediately.
This was OHSU's error and it in no way effects Regen's right to the process which is used in creating the HemXellerate treatment. IT DOES NOT EFFECT IT IN THE SLIGHTEST. Except to say Regen will benefit from the faux pas to the tune of $35K.
Excuse the redundancy, I didn't see there was an explanation preceding this message.
