That's been my thought from the very beginning. When you look at the acquisitions of smaller biotechs by BP some of which were not pretty matters, that makes all the sense to me. It is comparable to anyone doing what they must to protect what they have built, acquired, etc., etc...
Kind of like me with the squash bugs the other day; I was prepared to do whatever it took to rid my crops of those little buggers. If that meant borrowing a hazmat suit from my neighbor and splashing a cauldron mixed with alpaca poop, raw eggs and tobasco, I was gonna do it. Thankfully I didn't have to exercise such extreme measures.
Now, had I taken the time to apply a mesh net over my crops, I wouldn't have had that problem.
I think Koos's ownership is that mesh net.
I do plan to ask him that when I visit San Diego. Now, he might look at me as if I am mental and play mute when I ask. But, oh, I am asking.
Oh yeah, I can't remember if I indicated this or not: Koos is pronounced as KOSS and not Kews.
