Great article. Nice information. I think their projections are overly conservitive. We are going to experience a Sea Change in Home Entertainment the next 18 months. Look at current production of Digital Cameras, the H.264 CODEC with DOLBY nr out for a while and new cameras capable of H.265. The Technology adaptation will change every 18 months. John Chambers of Cisco working hard on the Global Backbone. The model will take us away from "Twisted Pair/Coax" to Long Range WiFi distribution of Bandwidth.
