GSE AGREE AN UPGRADE PACKAGE WITH CODA OCTOPUS
GSE have decided to replace all of our 760D Acquisition systems by March 2013 with the new DA4G. These units will have all available digital interfaces enabled and will bring the number of these systems available from GSE to eight.

CodaOctopus Geosurvey Replay
The sonar image above is reproduced by kind permission of Osiris Surveys Ltd and the North of Scotland Water Authority. It shows the wreck of MV Sweetpea found off Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. A GeoAcoustics dual frequency sonar system was used with data being displayed and processed by a Coda acquisition and replay unit.

Well now we know how and were Osiris got DAG4 for testing /evaluation before purchasing.

As revealed at Ocean Business, we have recently upgraded our geophysical data acquisition suite to include the latest DA4G platform from CodaOctopus, as well as signing up for their new Survey Engine™ Sidescan+™ software . Operations Manager for Osiris Projects, Iain Bones, said "Having performed a careful evaluation of the solutions available on the market today, the CodaOctopus GEO range was the clear leader, and we are looking forward to getting the new DA4G™ systems installed on all our survey vessels".Commenting on this large order Gareth Simpson, Sales Manager of CodaOctopus, said “We are delighted that Osiris have selected our GEO range for their operations . We have enjoyed a long relationship with Osiris, and are very proud of their continued faith in our products and support services.”Gareth Simpson detailed a few of the benefits to the new Sidescan+ software in this interview at the show.
